Welcome to The Discovery Garden Early Education, Care & Preschool

The Discovery Gaden Early Education, Care and Reschool is located on Awabakal land in Floraville NSW. We are an Exceeding rated service providing seven beautifully curated studios for all children to grow and learn in. We provide care and education for us to 124 children per day ages from 0-12 years. We at The Discovery Garden believe in respecting and valuing each child and family as part of our learning community and strive to support each child to reach their full potential.

Providing Quality Care at The Discovery Garden

We provide the highest quality care for children aged from 6 weeks to 12 years. As part of our philosophy we are focused on establishing nurturing environments and experiences for children that build upon their strengths and interests as they transition to school and the wider community.

As a family-owned centre, we love getting to build meaningful relationships and become part of your family. We’re committed to providing quality care and welcoming you to our beautiful centre.

We take a holistic approach to early development, providing home-style spaces where young ones will feel comfortable, nurtured and supported. Our program is all about nurturing your child’s unique personality and interests – with seven learning studios to choose from which are tailored to various stages of development.

We’re also passionate about encouraging healthy eating and nutrition so that your little ones can truly become their best selves. Healthy eating is a cornerstone to your child’s growth, wellbeing and development – and our daily menu provides fresh, healthy meals that provide balance and essential nutrients for growing little bodies. After all, they’re going to need fuel to stay active! We also grow fresh vegies on-site.

Learning Through Outdoor Play

We provide an indoor-outdoor program that is designed to offer children opportunities to explore all aspects of learning. These spaces invite open-ended exploration and play, encouraging risk taking, interactions and discoveries of their world.

Our centre is surrounded by leafy, natural bushland. We have a large outdoor learning environment, where children are encouraged to make sense of their world through a range of play-based learning experiences.

We want children here at The Learning Terrace to be able to develop a deep connection and appreciation for Worimi Land. We believe in a child’s right to have access and freedom to play in nature and outdoor play spaces, in all safe weather conditions.

As soon as we walked in the front doors I knew this was the place I wanted my daughter to go. There was a sense of calm and love. The quality of care is second to none.
